What Youll Be Doing
In this role, youll work with students who need support developing fine motor skills, coordination, and self-regulation. Youll conduct evaluations, collaborate with IEP teams, and implement therapy plans designed to meet each student's unique needs in their learning environment. Services may be provided in general education, resource, or specialized settings.
Virginia Credential Requirements

Active Occupational Therapist License through the Virginia Board of Medicine

NBCOT Certification strongly preferred

Prior experience in school-based settings is a plus
